This is an antique Hitchcock style chairs circa 1820 - 1840. A note on the base of the chair identifies the original owner, and the that is was refinished in 1940. A classic \"fancy chair\" of its era, the black wooden spindle chair features decorative gold hand-stenciled painting.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use.
