Add a special botanical touch with this unique pendant necklace cast from solid recycled sterling silver.  This has been cast from an actual mānuka seed pod, which has been slightly scaled down to capture the beauty of nature with a delicate feel. We carefully selected this wee trio to have cast (from dozens!) and the detail in these unmistakable pods is exquisite. The pendant comes on a standard sterling silver chain.

Mānuka (Leptospermum scoparium) is a common native shrub widely distributed throughout New Zealand. They produce these recognisable seed capsules after flowering and shed thousands of tiny seeds into the air when they split. Also known as \"tea tree\" for the brew made from its leaves, it has become most famous around the world for the honey derived from it with its many proven health benefits.
