Inbar Shahak is a contemporary jeweler based in Israel at her studio in Kibbutz Maagan Michael. A graduate of Shenkar University where she majored in weaving, knitting, and printing, Shahak utilizes her background as a textile designer to create woven jewelry inspired by industrial and ancient loom weaving techniques in gold and enameled wire. Shahakâs work is influenced by the silent, but ever present, language of women that weaves between the background and foreground of magazines.
