This is a 4000 Watt 277 Volt 14.4 Amp heater. At 63.5 inches long, this heater will heat an area of 10 by 10 feet at a mounting height of between 8 and 10 feet. The SL Series heaters must be surface mounted only and may not be flush mounted. The reason is that the SL-Series heater housing operates at a significantly higher temperature than the W-Series or C-Series fixtures due to the narrow profile and tight clearances to the heating element. The SL housing would exceed safe operating temperatures for wiring with restricted air circulation. The SL Series comes standard in a stainless hue anodized aluminum finish.
