This vintage Napier chain necklace is a bold and beautifully preserved example of the brand’s late 1960s–1970s design. Crafted in luminous gold-tone metal, it features oval rope-edged links measuring 10.37 mm wide, with precise texturing that adds depth and dimension.
The highlight of this necklace is its patented push–pull clasp, stamped PAT. 3,427,691. Introduced by Napier in 1969, this innovative clasp design includes a directional arrow and “OPEN” marking, providing both function and collectibility. Collectors prize this mechanism as a Napier hallmark, verifying authenticity and era.
