This Hatco FR-9 Electric 9 kW Hydro-Heater Food Rethermalizer/Bain Marie Heater heats and holds at safe-serving temperatures. Ideal for storing underneath a mounted sink or holding vessel, it provides a consistent flow of 140°F to 190°F water. The Energy cut-off system protects the FR-9 from damage, while its stainless steel front, silver gray hammertone body, and black base ensure durability and a professional appearance.

The Hydro-Heater is easy to adjust with toggle switch and adjustable temperature control. Separate sump and heating compartment drains simplifies cleaning and standard plated brass plumbing fittings make it possible to mount into a holding tank. Leadtime may vary, please call for details.

• *Wire size is based on THHN copper wire for branch circuit protection at 0.91 derate factor. Circuit breakers and fused disconnects are to be mounted remote and wired by contractor. Sizes are based on the 2002 NEC table 310-16. Conduit size based on conductors plus ground wire sizing.

Water Quality Requirements

• Incoming water in excess of 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) (.75 grains of hardness per liter) must be treated and softened before being supplied to hot water dispenser(s). Water containing over 3.0 GPG (.75 GPL) will decrease efficiency and reduce the operating life of the unit.
