The SS-1 takes its name from the USS Holland (SS-1) — the Navy’s first commissioned submarine and the one that started it all. Like the diesel smoke and grease-stained decks of the early fleet, this watch is all grit, no gloss.

Powered by a Seiko automatic movement and protected by a sapphire crystal, the SS-1 is built to take a beating and keep perfect time. It’s rated to 100 meters of water resistance, but it’s not just for the deep — it’s for the shop floor, the job site, the long haul. No gimmicks. No shortcuts.
