The 9002s were developed in close collaboration with The Kingsman costume team and the Cutler & Gross design studios in London and Italy. Based on 1920s motorcycle goggles, these vintage frames posed a manufacturing challenge in recreating their unique elliptical shape. Cutler & Gross\'s primary task was to maintain the look and feel of the vintage glasses on which they are based, while creating sunglasses with a fit and performance more similar to a modern frame. Semi-flat lenses replace the vintage flat lenses with an anti-reflective coating for enhanced performance. Nose pads have been added for a more comfortable fit, and the wire frame has been resized to fit modern faces. They feature custom metal hardware with a unique period pattern.
