Massive Round Danish Modern Coffee Table imported by George Tanner. Table measures nearly 47\" in diameter which dwarfs most coffee tables during the period. Unknown designer but in the style of Arne Vodder or Finn Juhl. George Tanner was one of the leading figures importing the best of Danish modern furniture into the USA. George Tanner had a relationship with every top danish designer of the period and imported on the best danish modern furniture.
Very high quality table, overall very good construction. Beautiful tapered legs, raised lip edge, and gorgeous wood grain. George Tanner brand mark incised into underside of top as well as a Danish control tag. This is the perfect table for a large space. Papa Bear Chair for comparison purposes.
