Acts as a moisturizer, conditioner and film plasticizer. It has low toxicity profile as it is derived from natural methyl glucoside with 20 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a non-irritant product. Reduces tacky feel in formulations and prevents soap bar from cracking. It improves the touch and adds gloss. Used in sunscreen creams, dry skin lotions, shampoo, shower gel and liquid soaps.
